  1. Reunion of the National Council of Rectors
    On May 25 - 27, 2023, the Reunion of the National Council of rectors is hosted by the University of Oradea. ASE is represented by PhD Prof. Dan Gabriel Dumitrescu, Vice-rector for Management of human resources and European funds. The host university is also celebrating its 60th Anniversary.

    Starting May 2023, the Bucharest University of Economic Studies is a member of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) founded in 2010, in Washington, USA.   5. Online meetings - Admission to Master's programs 2023
    On May 16 - 25, 2023, starting 18:00h, Master's candidates are invited to meet online with representatives of ASE's Faculties, as part of the "Master for All" campaign, initiated to facilitate exchange of useful information on the Master's Educational Offer and the steps of the Admission 2023 process.   6. Bi-annual meeting of ASE's students with representatives of the University's management team
    On Wednesday, May 17, starting 12:00 p.m., ASE's Aula Magna hosts the Bi-annual meeting of ASE's students with representatives of the University's management team. It is an opportunity for participants to share views on issues arising in student life and potential solutions for improving the latter.
  7. Admission to MBA programs 2023
    ASE has started registrations for the MBA master's programs organized by the Faculty of Bucharest Business School: "Romano-Canadian MBA (in English)" organized by ASE in partnership with Universite du Quebec a Montreal (UQAM), Canada, (website: https: //canadian-mba.ro/, e-mail address: office@canadian-mba.ro) and "Romano-French MBA - INDE (in English)" organized by ASE in collaboration with Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers (CNAM) Paris (website: https://inde.ro/, e-mail address: inde@ase.ro). Both MBA master's programs are completed with a double degree.   8. ASE participates in the 2023 Gaudeamus Book Fair in Oradea
    On May 10-14, 2023, the Bucharest University of Economic Studies participates in the 2023 Gaudeamus Book Fair in Oradea. On this occasion, ASE's Publishing House organizes a series of book launches in the presence of authors and guests from ASE's Faculties of International Business and Economics, Finance and Banking, Accounting and Management Information Systems.

  10. ASE participates in the Educational Offer Fair 2023
    On May 5-12, 2023, the Municipality of Bucharest organizes the Education Offer Fair 2023 to facilitate pupils' access to information on educational opportunities at high school and university level. ASE is represented at the event hosted by the National Library of Romania by members of the Marketing and Communication Office, who disseminate details and informative materials on Admission to Bachelor's programs 2023, student life and career opportunities.

  2. ASE - ranked 2nd at the National University Rapid and Blitz Championship
    On April 22-23, 2023, ASE ranked 2nd in the general university ranking, and won 7 individual medals as its chess players dominated the male blitz contest, part of the National University Rapid and Blitz Championship hosted by the West University of Timisoara.   3. 2023 - ASE's 110th Anniversary
    On April 6, 1913, the first Romanian economic higher education institution was established, under the name of the Academy of High Commercial and Industrial Studies (AISCI), as per a Law proposed by a committee led by Nicolae D. Xenopol, the then Minister of Industry and Commerce. The Law was elaborated by a group of leading Romanian economists, among whom we mention Virgil Madgearu, Victor Slavescu, Ion Angelescu. The Law was promulgated by King Carol I by means of Royal Decree No. 2978. The Bucharest University of Economic Studies is proud to have performed excellently for 110 years, being a leader of economic higher education in Romania and the region.   1. ASE's Delegation's participation in the Reunion of the Universitaria Consortium
    On March 16 - 19, 2023, ASE's Delegation led by PhD Prof. Nicolae Istudor, Rector, and comprising other representatives of the University's management team, participated in the meeting of the Universitaria Consortium, hosted by the "Babes-Bolyai" University of Cluj Napoca.   2. ASE received the visit of representatives of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia
    On March 20, 2023, PhD Prof. Marius Constantin Profiroiu, ASE's Vice-rector for International relations, received the visit of Mr. Mohammed Baashen, the Cultural attache of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia.     On March 2, 2023, ASE received the visit of a Delegation from EPOKA University in Tirana, Albania. The Albanian Delegation was welcomed by PhD Prof. Nicolae Istudor, Rector, PhD Prof. Dumitru Miron, President of the University's Senate, and PhD Prof. Constantin Marius Profiroiu, Vice-rector for International Relations.   5. ASE received a Delegation from the University of Artois
    On March 6, 2023, PhD Prof. Constantin Marius Profiroiu, Vice-rector of International Relations, received the visit of the academic staff and students comprising the Delegation from the University of Artois, ASE's partner in double degree programs. The program of the visit includes academic and cultural exchanges with students from the Faculty of International Business and Economics, the Bachelor's program in Modern Applied Languages (English, French), which has a double degree agreement with the University of Artois, Faculty of Letters and Arts.     On February 27 - March 3, 2023, ASE organized the Open Days Week, dedicated to senior high school pupils interested in finding out details on Admission procedures and student opportunities.     ASE's Board of Trustees offers free of charge optional courses in Macroeconomics, as part of its student-centered academic policy. This semester, the courses are held in Romanian between March 3 and May 27, 2023 on the university's educational platform online.ase.ro.

    On February 4, 2023, ASE's Palace in Piata Romana was lit in orange for the occasion of this year's World Cancer Day! Thus, we joined the fight against cancer, to show support of oncological patients and their families, as well as appreciation for the medical doctors who treat oncological patients, and the scientists involved in the development of efficient treatment so that all patients may win their battle with this terrible disease.     On February 6-10, 2022, ASE's Delegation participates in the AACSB Deans Conference in San Antonio Texas, USA. The Delegation comprises PhD Prof. Constantin Marius Profiroiu, Vice-rector for International Relations and PhD Associate prof. Vasile Alecsandru Strat, Dean of ASE's Bucharest Business School.   6. Meeting with representatives of the Reform Alliance of European Universities
    The Rector of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, PhD Prof. Nicolae Istudor, and PhD Prof. Constantin Marius Profiroiu, Vicer-rector for International Relations, participated in a working meeting with representatives of member universities of the REform - Responsible Innovation and Ethics for Europe, the transnational alliance of European Universities, which our University is a member of.
