Launch of the Research Center for Productivity Studies in ASE

On February 11, 2019, ASE hosted the Launch of the Research Center for Productivity Studies, a joint project with South Korean partners: Korea Development Institute (KDI) and Korea Productivity Center (KPC). The event benefited from the presence of PhD Prof. Nicolae Istudor, ASE`s Rector, Mr. Stefan-Radu Oprea, Minister for the Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship, HE Mr. Eun-joong Kim, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Romania, Mr. Kyoosung Noh, CEO of KPC, representatives from Korea University and Yonsei University, academics from ASE etc.

ASE`s Delegation`s visit to the European Parliament

On January 29-31, 2019, ASE’s Delegation led by PhD Prof. Nicolae Istudor, Rector, paid a working visit to Brussels. The program included meetings with officials from the European Parliament on topics related to academic cooperation at European level, perspectives for the Erasmus+ program and the Horizon 2020 program, funding opportunities and talks with members of the Committees on Economic and Monetary Affairs, and on Industry, Research and Energy.

Public debate in ASE

On January 22, 2019, ASE`s Aula Magna hosted the public debate on "Reporting and Settlement Mechanisms for Packaging Waste Targets as per Emergency Ordinance 74/2018". The event was organized by ASE`s Faculty of Agrifood and Environment Economics and the Coalition for Circular Economy, and was attended by members of ASE’s academic community, ministerial staff and representatives of professional associations.
