During March 13 - 17, 2017, ASE`s faculties jointly organized the Forum for Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship - FSDE 2017. This year`s edition reunited 1500 participants, who explored a wide range of topics with 100 speakers from the academic, business and social environments, high officials, ambassadors, ministers and other distinguished guests. On March 7 - 8, 2017, the Students` Union from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies - USASE organized a blood donation campaign. We thank the students, academic and administrative staff members who participated in this humanitarian campaign!
On February 23-24, 2017, ASE hosted the Meeting of the Academic Council of the Association of Faculties of Economics from Romania – AFER and the General Assembly of AFER. The participants debated on various issues regarding AFER’s performance in 2016 and plans for 2017.
On Wednesday, February 22, 2017, ASE`s Aula Magna hosted a presentation of the Educational offer for the ERASMUS + exchange program for the 2017-2018 academic year. Students were informed on opportunities for studying abroad, preparation of application files, selection procedures, financing issues and recognition of the studies undertaken abroad.
On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, ASE organized the conference entitled "The Maltese Presidency of the Council of the EU", delivered by HE, Prof. Lino Bianco, Ambassador of the Republic of Malta in Romania and Bulgaria.
On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, ASE`s Aula Magna hosted the debate entitled "The Global Business Environment in 2017: policies and challenges", facilitated by Mr. Paul Donovan, Chief economist at the UBS Wealth Management from Switzerland.
On February 16, 2017, ASE`s Rector, PhD Prof. Nicolae Istudor, and Prof. Michel Rochat, CEO Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne (EHL) signed the Partnership agreement between ASE and the most prestigious tourism and hospitality school. The event took place in Lausanne, Switzerland, and was attended by PhD Prof. Marius Profiroiu, ASE`s Vice-rector for International Relations, Mr. André Witschi, President of the Board of Governors of EHL, other personalities from EHL.
On Thursday February 9, 2017, ASE`s Rector, PhD Prof. Nicolae Istudor, and the President of the Romanian Football Federation - FRF, Mr. Razvan Burleanu, signed a strategic partnership agreement between the two institutions. The event was attended by students, academic staff members, FRF representatives, sports personalities, mass media representatives.
In conformity with this agreement, ASE will organize a Master`s program in Sports Management starting with 2018, as well as various continuing professional development courses for sport club managers, press officers, stadium security officers, team managers. FRF will provide internship and volunteering programs and private scholarships for ASE’s students and will support various scientific activites.
On Thursday, January 19, 2017, ASE`s American Studies Center was officially inaugurated. The event benefited from the presence of representatives from the United States` Embassy in Bucharest, ASE`s management team and the Fulbright Commission.
