Structure of the academic year
The academic year consists of 2 semesters. The first semester starts on October 1 st and ends in February, whereas the second semester starts at the end of February and ends in July. There are four holidays whose dates vary from one year to another: a winter holiday in December, an inter-semestrial holiday, a spring holiday and a summer holiday.

Admission calendar
The entrance examination takes places in the second half of July every year for all the three cycles of studies (Bachelor studies, Master studies, Doctoral studies).
Graduation exams
• 1 st cycle - the graduation exam takes place at the beginning of July every year. For the academic year 2011/2012, students take the exam to obtain their Bachelor's degree between July 18-21, 2012.
• 2 nd cycle - the graduation exam (defending a Master's thesis) takes place in June, every year. For the academic year 2011/2012, the exam is scheduled to take place between June 19-23, 2012.
